Navigator IP Installation

System Topology

Navigator IP is both a standalone One and Two Door Access Control unit and a Network Master for an IP (LAN) or dedicated RS485 networked system.

Standalone: One / Two Doors. Master connected to Master or Router by Network cable (CAT5 and above). On-board lock Power Supply of 12v DC 2.5A means no further PSU required.

Networked: lP (LAN). Master connected to the router or direct to PC / Laptop etc. by Network cable (CAT5 and above). IP Slaves connected to network points or directly to the router by Network cable (CAT5 and above).

RS485. Master connected to direct to PC / Laptop or Router by Network cable (CAT5 and above) - slaves must be wired via the Master using Belden 9501 or equivalent.
