Product Description
DPTS Secure is a fully featured access system for use with disabled toilets and designed for DDA compliance.
Unlike the standard DPTS the DPTS Secure keeps the door locked at all times. An Easiprox unit is used to allow access to the toilet for authorised users (token holders) only.
Operated by an Easiprox / Indicator unit outside the toilet and a JWS Touch sensor with ultra-brite LED inside the toilet it controls entry by unlocking, opening and locking the door at the appropriate times. It is designed to interface with both an automatic door operator and a locking device (maglock etc.)
How it works:
Step 1 - Present the User token (card or fob) to the Easiprox Unit. The door will unlock & activate the door opener to provide access.
Step 2 - Lock: When inside the toilet and the door is closed, touch the internal sensor to lock the door. To confirm the door is locked, the red indicator on both the internal sensor and the Easiprox indicator unit will flash showing the toilet is engaged and inhibiting the Easiprox (which stops user opening the toilet from the outside whilst its engaged).
Step 3 - Exit: Touch the internal sensor once more and the indicator stops flashing. The door will be unlocked and the door opener activated. The entry sensor stops flashing and becomes Easiprox becomes operable once again to provide access. The door will be locked once again preventing un-authorised use.
