CAS provides the definitive solution to providing Secure, Controlled Access and complying with the legislation as outlined in the Disability & Discrimination Act.1995. Building Managers and Solution Providers can now source a complete integrated system to control access into and out of secure areas. Variable switching Mode potential.

How it works: (other configurations are available)

DDA MODE - No lights on operators handset(s).
Door can be opened automatically using Touch Sensors or pushed open manually.  The Touch Sensor LEDs are constantly on.

SECURE MODE - Red and Amber lights on operators handset(s).
By pressing the red light button on the operators handset(s), the door is locked and the LEDs ‘pulse’ on the Touch Sensor. (This denotes that the use of the Touch Sensor is essential to request access). Now when the external Touch Sensor is pressed, it calls the operators handset(s) who can then speak to the visitor, to determine whether entry is to be granted.  The door release button on the operators handset(s) may then be used to grant access and remotely open the automatic door.

RESTRICTED MODE - Red light only on operators handset(s).
Now by pressing the amber light button on the operators handset(s), the door is still locked and use of the TouchSensor is still essential to unlock and operate Auto Door. However, the operators handset(s) are no longer called. Pressing the amber light button returns the unit to the SECURE mode.  Pressing the red light button returns the unit to DDA Mode.

N.B.
The internal / exit Touch Sensor unlocks and operates the automatic door in all modes.
The Touch Sensor LEDs are constantly on.
LPAN light panels can be incorporated into the system to provide extra information to the user at each stage of entry.Where space is at a premium fit a JWS square maglock
